Introduction to the "I Ching" and how the calendar can help with your daily focus as a conversational starting point.

About the first edition:
It’s called, “Foretell the Future with the I Ching and My Calendar of Days”. With this enlighten book/calendar, you will learn within a short time about “The I Ching” or “Book of Changes”, and you will gain some insight into how the I Ching influenced me to create a perpetual calendar. My calendar is based on the 64 hexagrams, with the hexagrams for each specific day on “My Calendar of Days,” being a window into the present, past, and of course the future. Once again, use the calendar to gain an insight into the scheme of things relating to the past, present, and also that of future events or outcomes. My main zealous concentration with this perpetual calendar is to know when to fast.
With hexagram 36 days, which is on my calendar, comes the idea that one should fast for three days as a presentation towards atonement of some sort, I usually take raw, fresh fruit juice
for three days. It is very enlightening to know when to fast, and also know when to abstain from a full load of activities. I usually take a vacation from work for about three to seven days. This helps me to purge all poisons, and other nonorganic obstructions from my body and it keeps me out of harm’s way as well because as I know, hexagram thirty-six does reflect in some way, Injury, which is mostly self-inflicted through wrong choices of consumptions, such as, alcohol, and smoking, and also not taking time out, through what I would guess, meditation, or yoga, and not so much, television consumption all-day-time.

Another self-crucifixion can come in the form of consumption of the wrong kind of water. That one could be another slippery sidewalk at night.

I. The oracle
A. Hexagram nine has more to do with the Superior man refining the outward aspect of his nature. Another variation is the idea of leaving the way of Tao and returning to it with loyal credence, in short, stay with what you know deep down in your being as right action: returning is good but try at best to be, and here comes my favorite word, "Consistent." "Be Consistent."
1. You may stray from The Way, if you stop along the way, you should always find your way back, and this is all due to loyalty and understanding of The Way.
2. Know that Success comes with being a strategic decision-maker, know which way to go? We see clouds coming from the west, will there be rain? Don't be capricious, trust your perception.

II. My interpretation
A. The main understanding with Hexagram 9 is, one must stay on the way, refining one’s integrity and basic beliefs. Stay with your first thought about various conflicts, the same can be said about clouds gathering in the western sky and moving towards your direction. First though, the expectation of rain, with this image you should withdraw and seek shelter soon. But please return to The Way.

B. The Judgment
1. The Wanderer. Success through smallness.2. Perseverance brings good fortune - To the Wanderer.
C. The Image
1. Fire on the mountain:a) The image of The Wanderer.
b) Thus, the superior man, is clear-minded and cautious,

II. More elaborations
A. "The Stranger"
With this episode we see fire on a mountain, you know that
look of fire on a mountain as the wanderer approached a gathering, and as he further moves from
place to place. His relief is that he does not have to remember those aimless
wanderings but moving towards a star there in the night as well, which is the
ultimate relief in mind. The light at the top of the mountain is great, but
even farther there is a distance star, align with that. Identical trajectory,

II. My interpretation
A. "Liaison"
So close to valentine to be stuck with the idea of not trusting the fidelity of another person's love life. A strong and non-subornative person, to touch such a person would prove wrong, in any relationship. That's what love is, an equal partnership with "The Divine" at the helm.
Although it feels like one is somewhat stuck, we need to pull ourselves forward because better days are on the way in. And as we move forward to meet upcoming days let us stay within the realms of probity possibilities and of good outcomes. Always remember most of the time you have to bow down to speak to people anyway, why not scale down to speak to the ones below your drift.

Hexagram 28

1. Now is a good time to cross the great water. Success if you take action in any direction.
2. Great Excess:
With this we see success with movement in any direction, this movement can be seen as a movement towards change and improvement, or towards that of stagnation. We wish to move from modesty and non-action. Take that first step in what you feel is a strategic direction!

A. Hexagram twenty-eight is related to Great Excess, hence, Great Exceeding.
Another variation would be the idea of Preponderance of the Great and Great Surpassing. The time is correct; there is a sense of excess to the extent that there is a danger of overload of a supporting structure or beam. The beam which supports the length of a roof is almost at its breaking point. If only there were vertical columns within the structure to reinforce the horizontal beam. Excesses need support as well.1. Now is a good time to cross the great water. Success if you take action in any direction.

II. My interpretation
A. I know I am speaking out of context when it comes to sports, especially football. But can you call the Super Bowl somewhat crazy? Mostly all things are related to numbers. Take hexagram 49 for example, that hexagram is related to revolution, what team would you expect? Trust me there was no mistake, numbers are numbers. Today I am looking at twenty-eight on My Calendar of Days.
1. The main idea is that there must be support in times of Great Excesses. Also, we can see the old man takes on a young wife, with this we see a rotting willow producing shoots, General improvement or that of rejuvenation. The old women will take a young husband, the image we see here is flowers sprouting from a rotting willow, what is the difference?
