Build Your Business Out March 18, 2025   by  admin If you’ve ever tried to start an online business but felt lost, overwhelmed, or frustrated, you’re not alone. Many people jump into affiliate marketing with excitement, only to realize they don’t know where to begin. They spend hours searching for answers, only to feel more confused than when they started. I was in the same position—until I found Wealthy Affiliate. This platform gave me everything I needed to start and grow a real, sustainable online business. Now, I’m able to make money online, work on my own terms, and build something that continues to grow month after month. Why Most People Fail at Affiliate Marketing (And How You Can Avoid It) The biggest reason people fail at affiliate marketing isn’t a lack of effort—it’s a lack of the right information and tools. Many people struggle because: They don’t know how to choose the right niche. They get stuck trying to build a website and give up. They have no idea how...

God's Minute ~ 3-17-19

Image
March Seventeen ~ God's Daily Minute  “Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice.” – Ps. 27:7 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth. Thou art our God, and the God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through Whom we, Thy children of faith, have the forgiveness of our sins Thou art our father’s God; and Whom they in the flesh confidently worshipped, we, their children, would also reverently worship and adore. Humbly, yet devoutly, would we give thanks to Thee, O God, for Thy great love revealed to us in Christ; and for Thy rich and unfailing providences to us, and to all men. For Jesus’ sake, receive our thanks. Continue Thy loving favors to us, and grant us pardon for sin, and life eternal. Give us, we beseech Thee, the Holy Spirit as our Guide this day, into truth. May He ever comfort us and all Thine in times of sorrow or of trial. May He strengthen us when we are weak. May He raise us up again, if we fall. May He i...

The Truth Behind the Smile

Image
The Truth Behind the Smile The Myths of Body Language in Business Communication Understanding body language is crucial in business settings, as it can often convey more than words alone. However, many misconceptions surround the interpretation of nonverbal cues. Here are some common myths and the truths behind them: Myth 1: A Smile Always Indicates Happiness While a smile is often associated with happiness or friendliness, it doesn’t always signify genuine positive emotion. In some cases, a smile can be a mask for other feelings such as discomfort, nervousness, or even contempt. It's important to consider the context and other accompanying nonverbal signals to accurately interpret a smile. Myth 2: Lack of Eye Contact Equals Dishonesty Many believe that avoiding eye contact is a clear sign of dishonesty. However, there are numerous reasons why someone might not maintain eye contact, including cultural norms, shyness, or simply being deep in thought. Conversely, some indiv...

Meditation's benefits. (update). - Free Online Library

Image
Meditation's benefits. (update). - Free Online Library There are a number of benefits associated with the consistent practice of meditation. If done after some type of meditative exercise such as Yoga or Qi gong, which should be done before the meditation session, because it will further enhance the effects of that particular meditation session, which follows. Remember, I said it must be practiced on a consistent basis, that is if the fruits of labor are expected to be acquired adequately. I can only see doing the Qi Gong and then the meditation once during early hours of the day. It would be even better to take ten minutes of stillness during or after lunch.  I remembered once during one of my elementary school classes, the teacher would tell the class after lunch to, "Put your head on your desk," I don’t know, maybe it was to better digest that most recent meal, or a meditation session to let go and digest what they had heard during the first part of the...

Some Benefits Of Qigong

Image
Some Benefits of Qigong By James Byrd, MBA For many years now, the Chinese medical therapy known as Qigong exercise has helped to alleviate both medical and physical ailments with its concept of “ Life energy cultivation .” Qigong is primarily the Taoist art of self-healing. Close attention is paid to body movement and breath control synchronization. Qi with its meaning carries the connotation of chi or breath of life, such as a baby’s first breath of life after it is cut from the umbilicus cord of its mother, which is now sustainable Qi. Now the other half gong has more to do with body movement; work, self-discipline, meditation, and relaxation exercises. To the extent that one inhales with one movement and exhales with the very next movement, this is meant to extend the full extent of the breath range to the fullest of the stretch range. The main idea when combining the two concepts of Qi and Gong is to breathe slowly and maintain your focus on the acupun...

Cialdini’s 6+ Principles of Persuasion: Summary

Image
Cialdini’s Principles refer to the six (later expanded to seven) psychological principles of persuasion outlined by Dr. Robert Cialdini in his influential book Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion . These principles explain how and why people are influenced in decision-making, making them essential for marketers, leaders, and communicators. Here's a breakdown: 1. Reciprocity Definition : People feel compelled to return favors or kindnesses. Example : Offering free samples or gifts can create a sense of obligation to reciprocate by purchasing the product or service. Application : Use small, thoughtful gestures to build goodwill and encourage reciprocation. 2. Commitment and Consistency Definition : Once people commit to something (verbally or in writing), they are more likely to follow through to remain consistent with their self-image. Example : A customer signing up for a free trial is more likely to continue using the service afterward. Application : Start with small commitmen...

Image
Hexagram 32: Duration (Heng) By: James Byrd I. The Oracle A. Overview Hexagram 32 is Heng , often translated as Preserving . Alternative interpretations include Duration and Constancy . The hexagram is composed of two trigrams: Lower Trigram (Xun): Ground or Wind Upper Trigram (Zhen): Shake or Thunder B. The Judgment Duration. Success. No blame. Perseverance furthers. It furthers one to have somewhere to go. C. The Image Thunder and wind: the image of duration. Thus the superior man stands firm And does not change his direction. II. My Interpretation A. "Constancy" The key theme of Hexagram 32 is unwavering dedication to an original goal—a steadfast adherence to principles or purpose, likened to the dogma of consistency from beginning to end. Just as a city under siege remains resolute in its defense without deviating from its foundational purpose, so must we stay true to our intentions and plans. A poignant symbol of constancy is the sun—its rising every day without f...

Hexagram 54 | The Marrying Maiden

Image
"The Future: 2020" By James Byrd Hexagram 54 The Marrying Maiden I. The Oracle A. The Judgement In the current situation, advancing in any direction seems unwise. The phrase "Go Easy" suggests caution. The Marrying Maiden is joined by her younger sister, who is the vested consort. This scenario is favorable, but if the consort is older, problems may arise. Twins, of course, would complicate matters further. This is akin to a "Domestic Dispute," prompting one to step back and reassess. The advice here is to trust what you observe. The marriage can be postponed without issue until certain variables align more favorably. Holding a wedding at an inopportune moment is like a cloudy sky without rain—anticipation without fulfillment. The Marrying Maiden : This signifies the transition from maidenhood to motherhood, provided the timing is suitable. B. The Image Thunder over the Lake : a) To achieve a favorable outcome, a well-timed beginning is crucial. Planni...
