Good Morning H-64

Hexagram 64

By: James Byrd

I.The Oracle

A. Hexagram 64 is named Wei Ji, or Not Yet Fording. Variations include Before Completion and Not Yet Completed. The lower trigram is Kan: gorge or water, and the upper trigram is Li: radiance or fire.

B. The Judgment

   1. Before Completion. Success.
But if the little fox, after nearly completing the crossing,
Gets his tail in the water,
   2. There is nothing that would further.

C. The Image

  1. Fire over water:
The image of the condition before the transition.
  2. Thus the superior is careful

      In the differentiation of things,
So that each finds its place.

II. My interpretation

A. "Before Completion"

This would be a time to somewhat pull back – be not overconfident to the extent of overindulging during the celebration of a hoped for, or projected, positive outcome.

For the time being no outward plan or goal is workable. Just ready yourself with inward goals, such as with meditation on positive outcomes, and other such things as Qi Gong – jogging, a not so random walk, but try not to get your head wet during your excursions at the local pub, no drinking Sir. Show restraints, for now, don’t even, go there, save it for the next big party that is now pending.

The same can be said about a rainy day; keep your trips – short if none at all – listen to statistics, something will almost, or an accident will more than likely happen on these types of days. And remember, there is always one near the end of every celebration, a rainy day, that is.

"This hexagram describes your situation in terms of being on the edge of an important change of situation. It emphasizes that waiting and accumulating energy to begin the upcoming move is the adequate way to handle it. To be in accord with the time, you are told to: not-yet ford the stream of events!"

OCOD

Hexagram 22

By James Byrd

I. The Oracle

A. Hexagram 22 is Bi or Adorning. Further variations include Grace and Luxuriance. The lower trigram is Li: radiance or fire, and the upper trigram is Gen: bound or mountain.

B. The Judgment

   1. Grace has success.
   2. In small matters
It is favorable to undertake something.

C. The Image

  1. Fire at the foot of the mountain:
      The image of Grace.
  2. Thus the superior man proceeds

      When clearing up current affairs.
But he dares not decide controversial issues in this way.

II. Another interpretation

A. "Beauty and Grace"

“The orator, he has the ear of the people provided, content, the end goal, behavioral temperaments, within a range of days/years are consistent with the image the orator wants to project.”

Hexagram 61

By: James Byrd

I.The Oracle

A. Hexagram 61 is Zhong Fu, or Center Returning. Further variations are Lower Truth and Central Return. The lower trigram is Dui: open, swamp or forest. The upper trigram is Xun: ground or wind.

B. The Judgment

   1. Inner Truth. Pigs and fishes.
       Good fortune.
It furthers one to cross the great water.
   2. Perseverance furthers.

C. The Image

  1. Wind over lake: the image of Inner Truth.
      a) Thus the superior man discusses criminal cases
      b) In order to delay executions.

II. Another interpretation

A. "Inner Truth"

"Legge: Inner Truth denotes the highest quality of man, giving its possessor the power to prevail with spiritual beings, with other men and with lower creatures. There are two magnetic lines in the center and two dynamic lines above and below them. The magnetic lines represent the heart and mind free from all preoccupation, without any consciousness of self. The two dynamic lines immediately above and below them are each in the center of their respective trigram, and denote the solid virtue of one so free from selfishness."  Credit | James DeKorne's Official Website - The Gnostic Book of Changes - Hexagram 61

Good Morning H-17

Hexagram 17

By: James Byrd

I.The Oracle

A. Hexagram seven-teen is called Sui, or Following. The lower trigram is Zhen: shake or thunder. The upper trigram is Dui: open, swamp or forest.

B. The Judgment

   1. Following has supreme success.
Perseverance furthers. No disruptions at the moment.
   2. Good Sign. Sign of the Great Sacrifice.

C. The Image

  1. The Lake is over Thunder:
      a) The image of Following.
      b) Thus the superior man at nightfall

Goes indoors for rest and recuperation.

II. My interpretation

A. "Following"

With this notion, I can see a person who has decided to forgo their annotated goals and instead follow a downward path to that of an inferior inclination, but a person with bright potential, if nurtured and guided straight towards their intended goals, (will overcome all obstacles with the help of his or her Merkabah like ingested spirit and will always be moving ever forward following the eye of God. 10-17-22)

He does this in order to position himself below the selected object with the expressed notion of keeping the individual or system from systems error. Or better yet, another way to look at it is to take, for example, the scene of the "Remo Williams" movie. In that movie we see a master humbling himself below that of the "Adapt," use that word sparingly, just to train "Remo Williams." I suspect you will, old boy.

Good Morning H-58

Hexagram 58

By: James Byrd

I.The Oracle

A. Hexagram fifty-eight is Dui, or Open. Further interpretations are The Joyous, Lake and Usurpation. Its lower and upper trigrams are also identical, being Dui: open, swamp or forest.

B. The Judgment

   1. The Joyous. Success.
   2. Perseverance is favorable.

C. The Image

  1. Lakes resting one on the other:
      a) The image of The Joyous.
      b) Thus the superior man joins with his friends

           For discussion and practice.

II. My interpretation

A. "The Joyous"

Joyously having fun is the tune to accord with now. Amongst these celebrations there abides much talking to the excess of misunderstood clamor.  Talking to the tail of an arrow our words must at this time do so as such ---target; "Stright talk."

Don't push the downtrodden too far, because the compound effect of those past malignant demands will be mistakenly credited to your account as well, for no reason. Be straight honesty, then move on with the process of being joyous but, keep the busybody clamor down for the moment.

With this hexagram, we can see gladness to the extent that the crowd follows the lead of the spokesperson to the tune of a buffalo stampede type endeavor. All this is due to the deep interactions between the friends as they might set and examine the deep-held secrets within that particular group norm. This builds a sense of non-competitiveness within that group; the atmosphere is somewhat pleasant.

In sadness, the group will hold the same sentiment as when there are times of pleasure. Such is when the team, wins there is joy within that moment, but when the team loses, there is much talk about reconciliation. Same as when there are times of bereavement all involved or as a collective membership will be affected by that event, and naturally If in any case there is talk in that direction let that talk be short, gentle, sincere and honest –straight to the fact and not beat around the bush. Too much talk leads to trouble, folks.

Pleasure is sometimes due, but know your personal limits, such as marching to the tune of the drummer, let’s not forget the drummer at some point has to rest, or else the group will be out of step.

“If your mind is misty, your life will be misty; if your mind is sunny, your life will be sunny! Your life will be the reflection of your mind, of your thoughts! If there is a candle in your mind, your life will not know what utter darkness is!”  Mehmet Murat ildan

Good Morning H-50

Hexagram 50

by James Byrd | "The Future"

I. The Oracle

A. Hexagram fifty is related directly with Holding (Handles). Another variation is The Cauldron or a big pot for preparing a feast that has jade handles/rings on each side of it for holding a hot pot: It could be said that the jade handles will in some way cushion the effect of the hot pot.  A hot pot can in some way give you the meaning of some social interaction. I think jade with its molecular structure operates as a soothing solution to some or maybe all related interactions during those sometimes-trying moments.

   1. The Cauldron, Supreme good fortune; Everything is now favorable
   2. Success

B. The Image

  1. Fire over wood
      a) The image of The Cauldron
      b) Thus, the superior man consolidates his fate, by making his position correct. Karma = Future.

II. My interpretation

A. As it is said in other books it is a day of sacrifice to appease the Gods or God

   1. Having a piece of jade does fairs well for one. As it is stated in more than one book or another, being aligned with the cycles of this planet is the best we can do for now. It is the same as observing a collective fate. It is the same as, if it is cold, all beings will sense that effect. Or better put, if we are riding on a bus, and the bus hits a pothole, all riders of this planet will feel that effect, believe, me you. Remember, your mere reading of these lines means you have done your due diligence, in terms of you are here, and it is now. We have to go back and relate to Native American observance of planetary movement, yes, we need to observe that as well, a FDI Project. With my studies of the, I Ching, I have noticed it also aligns with cosmic changes, and also, social changes

(B. All I can see for now in terms of collective care, is to cleanup your surroundings, and care for it as much as possible, but better yet, treat it as a living thing. It is just like your own body, you are not always sick, because your body has scrambled back to equilibrium, the self-healing effect, which by choice, the earth carries with it as well, during these increasingly hot summer days. It should not look sick all the time, clean it up. Think to suffice some things that might be a cause to that particular sickness.  7-31-23)
