Hexagram 17

I. The Oracle
A. Hexagram seven-teen is called Sui, or Following. The lower trigram is Zhen: shake or thunder. The upper trigram is Dui: open, swamp or forest.
B. The Judgment
1. Following has supreme success.Perseverance furthers. No disruptions at the moment.
2. Good Sign. Sign of the Great Sacrifice.
C. The Image
1. The Lake is over Thunder:a) The image of Following.
b) Thus the superior man at nightfall
Goes indoors for rest and recuperation.
II. My interpretation
A. "Following"
This concept reveals a person who has chosen to abandon their defined goals, opting for a lesser path. Yet, a person of great potential, when properly nurtured and directed towards their true objectives, will surmount all challenges. With the strength of their inner spirit, akin to a Merkabah, they will perpetually progress, guided by the divine watchfulness. (10-17-22)
He does this to position himself beneath the chosen object, aiming to protect the individual or system from errors. Alternatively, consider the scene from the "Remo Williams" movie where a master humbles himself below the "adept" to train Remo Williams. This analogy might resonate with you, my friend.
