The Heavenly Tread

I. The Oracle

A. Hexagram One

Hexagram one is directly related to The Creative Principle, The Origin, the source of all sources. It is akin to that which sustains the earth, as earth hangs from its Heavenly Tread. Imagine it as a clock, functioning to provide the correct timing for all evolutionary occurrences. This precision is because all parts are as they should be, maintaining equilibrium. For instance, consider the moon's presence—it's all about balance.

1. The Creative's Success
   The Creative works towards sublime success, akin to a prisoner in solitary confinement. You are within your temple, which is your solitary body. To prepare yourself, engage in practices like Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Meditation—activities that strengthen the mind and body for endurance. Always be prepared for the long journey ahead.
2. The Hidden Dragon
   The Dragon conceals itself, becoming strong and untiring. The Creative manifests in a way where, as in heaven, so it is on earth, much like a raindrop traveling from one realm to another.

B. The Image

1. Heaven's Movement
   The movement of heaven is powerful. Prepare yourself for a long life, leaving the wonders of heaven to the originator. Sustain yourself in your uniquely given vessel, preparing your body for longevity.
2. a) Achieving sublime success and staying on the right path will bring rewards.

II. My Interpretation

A. Creative Vision

The Creative can be seen in the vastness of the sky. Even the sky has boundaries, much like a glass containing water or Qi within the body. Wisdom lies in knowing when to retreat and when to advance—a skill honed through regular meditation.

1. Harmony with Heaven
   This ability signifies unity with heaven on earth. On this day, it represents the Dragon or one who prepares for relentless activity. The hexagram illustrates the Creative's presence both above and below—reflecting the principle "as above, so below."

From earth, the atmosphere connects us with heaven. This atmosphere can significantly influence our current activities, being a force from above.

Today, we are under The Creative's influence. The Sage may appear above it all, yet they are the common cause, the Great Origin of Power, and the Darkness that envelops all Light. Prepare yourself, knowing that the Dragon, despite its vastness, sustains the earth by hiding within a drop of water.
