I.The Oracle 


A. Hexagram 20 is Guan, or Viewing. Various other interpretations include Contemplation, View and Looking Up. Its lower trigram is Kun: field or earth. Its upper trigram is Xun: ground or wind.     

B. The Judgment

   1. Contemplation. The ablution has been made,
       But not yet the offering.
   2. Full of trust they look up to him.  

C. The Image

  1. The wind blows over the earth:
  2. The image of Contemplation.

      Thus the kings of old visited the regions of the world,
      Contemplated the people,
      And gave them instruction.   

II. My interpretation
