1 Chronicles 19:13 — Be Strong, Act Courageously, and Trust God

“Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the Lord do that which is good in his sight.” — 1 Chronicles 19:13 (KJV)

In this video, we reflect on Joab’s courageous words as Israel confronted enemies on two fronts. Although the circumstances were uncertain, Joab called his brother Abishai and the army to stand firm, act bravely, and defend their people—while leaving the final outcome in God’s hands.

This powerful verse teaches us to:

• Remain courageous when challenges surround us
• Fulfill our responsibilities with strength and honor
• Stand up for our families, communities, and faith
• Do everything within our ability and trust God with the results
• Accept that the Lord will accomplish what is good in His sight

Faith does not guarantee that every situation will unfold according to our plans. Faith gives us the courage to do what is right, serve others faithfully, and surrender the outcome to God.

Be strong. Act courageously. Protect what has been entrusted to you—and let the Lord do what is good in His sight.
