Hexagram 6 teaches that conflict should not always be pushed to its conclusion. Wisdom may require restraint, reflection, and knowing when to step away. In Luke 10, Martha becomes overwhelmed by responsibility and frustrated with Mary, while Jesus redirects her attention toward what is truly important.

Together, these teachings reveal a powerful lesson:

Peace often begins when we stop fighting over secondary matters and refocus on what matters most.

This message also applies to leadership, business management, and everyday relationships. Effective leaders must learn to distinguish between what is urgent and what is important, what requires confrontation and what requires understanding, and when stepping away from conflict may produce a better outcome.
