Proverbs 3:5–6 & Hexagram 25 — Trust, Innocence, and the Right Path
## Proverbs 3:5–6 & Hexagram 25 — Trust, Innocence, and the Right Path
In this presentation, **Rev. James Byrd** compares and contrasts the timeless wisdom of **Proverbs 3:5–6** with **Hexagram 25 of the I Ching, Wu Wang — Innocence / Without Falsehood**. Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches us to **trust in the Lord with all our heart and not depend entirely upon our own understanding**. When we acknowledge God in our decisions, He directs our path. Hexagram 25 presents a complementary principle: remain sincere, natural, and free from manipulation or hidden motives. Rather than forcing events according to personal ambition, we are encouraged to act with integrity and remain aligned with the proper course of events. ### In this video: * Proverbs 3:5–6 and the importance of trusting God * Hexagram 25: Innocence and “Without Falsehood” * Faith versus dependence on personal understanding * The dangers of ego-driven decisions * Sincerity, humility, and proper timing * Leadership and business management applications * How spiritual wisdom can guide us through unexpected circumstances Although these teachings come from different traditions, they share an important message: **wisdom requires humility**. **Proverbs teaches us to trust the One who knows the way. Hexagram 25 teaches us not to corrupt the way through artificial motives.** Together, they remind us: **Trust beyond what you can presently understand, remain true in your intentions, and do not force what has not yet been properly revealed.** Watch the presentation: [https://youtu.be/XXoqg4Romas](https://youtu.be/XXoqg4Romas) Presented by **Rev.
